YOU SHOULD BE PUMPING ?

Pumping with 6 year old Noah
by Julie Errchetti jjerrichetti@msn.com, Noah's mom.

Noah -- 6 1/2 This is our son Noah who is 6 1/2 years old, he was diagnosed at age 18 mos (he is about to have his 5 year anniversary). He started pumping 2 years ago with the Animas IR1000. Last year we were upgraded to the IR1200. The freedom we found from switching to the pump was nothing short of miraculous. To not be tied to a stringent eating and injection schedule has been so great for our whole family. Noah is the youngest of four children. He has two older brothers, and an older sister, all of whom pray for him to be cured of his diabetes.

Noah is currently in Kindergarten and amazing his school nurse with his maturity and wisdom regarding his diabetes. He is also helping the family raise funds for JoinLeeNow.org, he's given his own gift money and is encouraging others to give too! He is a special blessing to us.
