Justin is a sweet 3 years old boy born 6/9/00. Justin's diabetes came on suddenly after becoming very sick with a stomach virus/flu. He never had any signs of diabetes before the virus, but 3 days into the stomach flu I knew something wasn't right. He started begging for water, and vomiting. He was diagnosed with diabetes on 4/15/02 at the age of 21 months. Shots didn't work well for Justin. His numbers were all over the place. 7 months later on 8/21/02 he began pumping, and I got my sweet baby back. No more mood swings or temper tantrums.
Justin loves his pump, and I love that he is able to be a kid again. Justin favorite food is Mc Donald's cheese burger happy meal, and I am very grateful I can give it to him.
