RE: [IPk] Guy's Hospital

Sorry I should have been clear - for the 4 weeks of the trial
you have a phone and pager number for the diabetic specialist
nurse so that you can have support when needed. I didn't
need it but it was good to know it was there. I could, of
course, also have phoned Minimed on their helpline but when
you are starting out I guess it is nice to know that you can
phone someone who knows you as well as your pump.

As a PS - Yesterday I got my first Hba1c since I started
using the pump (about 7 weeks ago) and it was 5.8!! I was
really pleased because having always had 6.something (as a
result of BGM's in the night of <2!) I was worried that the
Hba1c might actually look worse even though I feel so much
better but no, it was great.

Bev

Hi Beverley

Why would it need 4 weeks round the clock?
