Having spent almost the entire past 26 years (pre-pump) either hypo or high
I can totally assure you that even as a young teen I gained "superhero"
strength when hypo.  I remember a particularly embarrassing event after a
hypo at around the age of 15 when I found out that it had taken two large
adults to restrain me whilst another administered the Glucagon, during which
I constantly swore at my dad (something I would never have dreamed of doing
then and still never did even after leaving home and getting married!).  My
husband now says that it is easier to leave me until I am a "gonna" and sort
me out rather than fight with me in front of the children - mind you I can't
honestly remember the last bad hypo I had, must go and check the expiry date
on the Glucagon!
