Hi Julian
I find it makes a huge difference if I don't eat a lot of carbs before bed. I 
can reduce my overnight basal from e.g. 1.0 to 0.7 - quite a big difference!
It's a pain, but worth it because I have so much better nighttime control that 
way.
Just a random thought anyway.
