Re: [IPk] insulin pumps and the lack of



Dear Abigail

I didn't approach the Royal Free Hospital, don't know about transferring to
the Royal Free in future.  At moment keeping on with my NHS Consultant for
routine appointments, they don't know I am on the pump though my GP thinks I
will have to tell them at some time.  With the pump I now decide on my insulin
rates!  Don't others find they have to take charge of their treatment and make
decisions?
