[IPk] Pump arrived!

I'm in a state of shock. I've just arrived home from getting my third
scaphoid pot on my right hand and forearm, to find a message on my
answermachine from the DM specialist nurse at Southport to say my pump
has arrived.

I didn't know I was getting one!

After almost 3 years of applying for funding, I knew it had gone to a ctee
for consideration at the end of May, but I'd heard nothing so presumed
another rejection.

I pick it up tomorrow afternoon and arrangement will be made to meet the
training nurse.

All I can say is I'm in a state of shock, but pleasantly so.

To all those out there trying for funding, keep plaguing the powers-that-be.
For some unknown reason, it's worked for me and I'm very grateful.

I think it's Medtronic 508.

Guess training will be delayed due to my being in a plaster cast. I can wait.

Rhoda - stunned but happy, I think!
