Re: [IPk] monitoring



Heather, may I ask whether you did actually contact Diabetes UK about all
this, and how did they actually respond? Because in theory taking up cases
on an advocacy basis is a very important function of patient support, it
means the complaint doesn't backfire on the patient for a start, and the
organisation clearly has credibility and power that individuals cannot have.

If you didn't talk to them yet, why don't you? Sometimes associations can't
act because people don't give them the information to act on.
