Re: [IPk] Funding of pumps and consumables

Di,

Actually one of our patients had a two pump set AND a year's worth of
consumables funded by Access to work and she's an A&E nurse.

We have another community worker who is just waiting for funding to be
approved from the Access to Work Scheme.

Quite often if your job involves driving or shift work and the pump enables
you to do your job better and your employer will put up the first #300, then
they will consider you. Seems like quite a lot of criteria but it's always
worth making the calls and asking the questions, they can only say no.

Kind regards

Estelle
