[IPk] Diving

Sorry for the long delay in my reply but I have been doing a lot of diving!!
(I live in Dubai where it is still 90 degrees F at the moment).

The basic concern with diving is regarding safety which is when hypo's etc.
could cause a problem.
Everyone, during diving, is put under pressure so diabetics are no more at
risk than anyone else. Safety and Rescue is taught as part of the diving
course so all risks during diving are explained.

That sounds fantastic. I had heard there was some special concern about us
diving with diabetes, something to do with our small blood vessels. Is this
not so, is all the concern really about hypos?
