RE: [IPk] Just a moan!!
I know what you mean about being too honest. I tend to take questions
literally, and try to be absolutely honest in my reply, which doesn't always
help. Recently I have had to go through some telephone questioning to get my
"free" - well for everyone not diabetic - travel insurance that comes with a
bank account. Q. Have you ever had a hypoglcaemic episode? A. Yes. - Wrong,
free insurance is now #50. I tried to explain that I have never needed the
help of another person, I just eat, but too late. I questioned the
definition of a hypoglycaemic episode, and she said "well ask your doctor if
you don't know". Next time I will reply - "No, not that I have ever needed
help from another person", but I doubt it will be free then.
Just to make you smile, when I am asked how often I see my GP I am tempted
to say every day, as I work in my surgery, but I haven't dared reply that
yet - they probably have no sense of humour at all!!!
PS Enjoy your free bus travel.

feels that I am unsafe to drive. It just makes me want to cry. And
