Thanks for this; I will definitely get in touch with Sonia. I wonder if I
count as "young" ;-)
I get so angry when I see my friend finally swapping hospitals after 25 years
of poor care and now being educated about her diabetes and being given the
opportunity to use a pump. I suppose at only 5 years of poor care (i.e. "your
blood sugars are all over the place - why not try some yoga?" Yeah right that
will help) I should count myself lucky!

If I may be so bold - would any people who got value out of DAFNE or
had to fight for a pump and have been successful in pump therapy
please consider taking part in this?
Type 1 15+ years; MiniMed pumper 7.5 years; Animas pumper 4+ years; on
about as many diabetes related projects as I can handle at the moment!
