Re: [IPk] failure? What failure?

Hi Tony

I think Sasha's paediatrician is really worried that he is not up to speed on
things like this rather than that he is worried about the failure of the
technology! The diabetes specialist nurse has told him that we really ought
to have a Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse but he keeps saying no that
she's doing fine. Monica the senior D nurse is in her mid to late 50 and sees
all the diabetics for our hospital, type 2s as well. I think he is more
afraid of new technology and someone younger coming in who know more that he
does. I don't think he has the time to learn more as he is the senior
Paediatrician at the hospital and his work load is very heavy. I have been in
that hospital with my other children over the years for emergencies and know
how much he has too do. It is probably unreasonable to expect him to know all
there is to know about diabetes and pumps. But still he should be willing to
send people to another hospital who can help.
