Re: [IPk] mixtard

Hi Barbara

We did change Sasha to Mixtard 40/60 and had better results for quite a while,
we changed to split injections when it became obvious that neither mix was
quite right. We did use Mixtard 40 in the daytime too for a while but Sasha
really needed more longer lasting in the day and we when back to 30/70. If
you point out what is happening then the clinic should let you try mixtard 40
for a while. My clinic use to just get me one or two cartridges to try before
we put in on prescription.

I may be that if Danielle's lunchtime levels are still high that you might
still be better on mixtard 30 in the day but give her a unit or two more.
Also make sure you do give it 30 mins before she eats unless her levels are
very low.

Good luck
