since she changed to velosulin. Presumabley she was on humalog before?.
Could be that the delayed action of velosulin is giving high post meal
spikes followed by a hypo as it continues to work for some hours after
Hot weather is known to cause hypoglycaemia. It may well have been more
sensible of her doctor to suggest temporarily reducing her basal rates
Who are they to suggest that 4 basal rates are too many. Some of us have
more than this. This is the beauty of modern insulin pumps. It's another
example of doctors liking to over simplify things
