Goodness, I thought we'd run out of lousy doctors!
Everyone who has lasered me has been aware that it's painful at worst,
slightly uncomfortable at best.
One can explain (but not excuse) the desk-slamming as the action of a
person who has been frustrated by you wanting more of his time, since
you didn't understand / he was not clear why he was only giving a single
option. But it would have taken only 15 seconds more to educate rather
than to insult. I am horrified that my taxes are being spent on
insulting people.
While waiting for things to come around to people who deserve it, If
they still have high street opmetrists (opthalmic opticians) around you,
I suggest you visit one (people who hope you may spend several hundred
pounds with them tend to have more sensitivity when delivering bad
news).
