[IPk] contact sports
I am due to go on the pump soon, hopefully in the next few months. My diabetic
team are concerned about the type of sports i do, i.e, kickboxing, close combat
self defence and basketball, they are worried about what will happen if i get
kicked in the cannula site or if i fall over on to the pump itself. They do not
want me to take the pump off during these sports. I was wondering if anyone else
is in this situation or can offewr any advice? i dont know what type of pump i
will have.
