Re: [IPk] Retinopathy on Pump
Hi Carl
I sympathise. I have had 30,000 laser bursts so I am told. I have just had
my first cataract removed from the worst eye and have been suffering
pressure in this eye since (3.5 weeks) though I think it is going down.
I have registered for partial sight and found the Kent Association for the
Blind very supportive. Are you in London? I am at Guys but had the op at
St Thomas. I do back tomorrow and am hoping for good news. After Guys I
plan to go to the RNIB resource centre to get a new talking watch which went
wrong when I tried to change the clock last night. I really miss it,
particularly at night as in the dark I can see absolutely nothing.
Good luck and keep in touch.
June
