[IPk] lipoic acid
Hi everyone. Having been a diabetic for over 33 years, I was searching the
internet for help with diabetic neuropathy and came across quite a few
interesting articles on the effectiveness of lipoic acid on this and other
diabetic complications. Here are a couple of links that I found:

The articles that I read all sounded really promising and it appears as though
lipoic acid is commonly prescribed for diabetics in Germany. In each article
they advise caution when diabetics take this supplement because it can effect
insulin sensitivity. Last week I asked my consultant if he knew anything about
it but he had never even heard of it so I was wandering if any other pumpers had
tried taking this or know of anyone that has ? I am really keen to give it a go
but would like to know just how much effect it has on insulin requirements.
