[IPk] Pumps and weight

There's been a lot of talk about pumps and putting on (or not putting on) 
weight. Remember, the pump isn't magic, it's a tool which enables you to eat 
(and behave) more like a "normal" person, in that you have more freedom to 
eat what you want when you want. Although it *may* mean you need to take less 
insulin, which can be a contributory factor.
Whether you put on weight or not is up to you, just as for any non-DMer. The 
pump does make it easier to control your weight (upwards or downwards)  
because of the greater freedom you have with regard to food and exercise, but 
it's still up to you in the end.
