Why on earth can you not disconnect after bolusing? I do it all the 
time. What do you think the problem is with doing that?
As long as you wait until all the bolus has gone in (a few seconds) it 
makes no difference if you remain connected or not for the next 20 
minutes or so.

The issue of waterproofness is to us quite important. Sarah must bolus her
breakfast insulin 20 minutes before eating or she will have a high
mid-morning spike. She boluses, then showers, then eats breakfast.. it is
not a good idea to bolus then immediately disconnect.
