Re: [IPk] Medtronic or Animas Pump

Hi Rachel

I have used the Animas pump since May last year and feel control with it is
fantastic. The pumps mainly do the same things but the Animas can give
0.025 increments for basals which is half the others. I find I need this
when I need to make very small changes and it can be done extremely easily.I
find that this amount does make a difference to me. I would not go back to
Medtronic even though they have the continuous glucose checker as well. I
know Animas are going to have something very similar in the not too distant
future in this country. Few hospitals seem to allow Animas and most people
do have Medtronic. I am quite happy to be different. There are others on
this list who have the same as me and everyone seems to say the same as me.
If you have any questions I shall be pleased to answer them if I am able.
