RE: [IPk] Still making insulin after 50 years of diabetes?

There is some interesting clinical research going on into whether
administering C-peptide to long-term type 1s/2s with neuropathy may have
clinical benefit.

The thinking is that perhaps C-peptide, which is associated with natural
insulin production but not with insulin therapy, protects cells from damage
or may even reverse damage already done.

http://tinyurl.com/momgt shows one abstract and related links (right-hand
side of window, new feature on PubMed!).
