Re: [IPk] Skin recovery

Gosh I wish my cannulas only made small pin pricks. I end up with fifty pea
marks and lots of bruising I was worse on mdi I used to have cup sized bruising
after each injection if my sites are redder than usual I put a silver
antibacterial plaster over the site it calms it down arnica for bruising some
people swear by tea tree oil it takes at least three weeks for mine to heal I
was told that as diabetic that's normal I think good control good diet all help
the healing process but not all of us can achieve this all the time good luck
with it all hope you find something that helps angel

I look like a pincushion. I have little pin pricks where cannulas have been
inserted. Has anyone a bright idea how to help the skin heal itself once a
cannula has been removed? It seems to take 3 to 4 weeks for the mark to

I dont have an allergic reaction to cannulas the one good thing is that the
little red marks make it easier to rotate sites! Is this something we just have
to put up with? Rosie
