I never pack all my pump supplies in my hand baggage, but I make sure I
have a couple of spare sets and a reservoir at least, to get me through
the next few days. In most parts of the world you can get more pump
supplies sent out pretty quickly if they do actually lose your luggage
permanently (rather than the usual issue which is where it doesn't make
it onto the flight and they send it on on the next flight). I always
take my insulin in hand luggage due to the temperature issue.
