Re: [IPk] Medtronic offering free pump!!!

Hi Jackie
Sound like the hearing aid thing is a bit like the pumps when it comes down to
My dad who has been wearing a hearing aid for about 30 years now, has never
had a choice, they've been changed when the needed changing, and any up-grades
that he's had since has been on the well they don't do the older ones
He hates his new ones, which are really small digital ones, it's not the
digital bit he hates but the size of them he finding difficult...B B For a 90
year old that has hands the size of a shovel which are arthritic he finds it
so fiddly not only to handle the smaller hearing aid, but to switch the thing

Hi Jackie
I've thought about using the adapter things but can't be bothered to go
and battle with the PCT in order to get it arranged, I can just foresee
so many problems with getting my stuff from two different companies. It
doesn't bother me enough yet to make the effort!

Good to hear that they do get a choice of hearing aids!
