Re: [IPk] What am I doing wrong?

John,
Normal BGs are the answer if you are ill, like a cold. I know this is
almost impossible to achieve at times.
After I had a triple heart bypass the private hospital didn't bother about
my diabetes state very much. I then got MRSA. OK, I may well have still
contacted the bugs, but I wonder if my body would have repaired quicker with
BGs
at around 7.0 instead of the 22 level. I was too ill to help myself.

I have just been to Portugal for a week. The 3rd day I went down with a bad
head and chest cold. My BGs went high. Eventually, I got control back but
only after doubling my total infused insulin. I now await the BG crash that
will happen during the coming week.

After pumping for 3 months I had an HbA1c test. Marvellous, the result was
6.8.
