Re: [IPk] the weather

Hi Carmel
I've had exactly the same thing. The last few days I have had so many hypos,
and my warnign signs have decreased a lot, resulting in more hypos - it's a
circle. I even had Chinese last night which normally keeps my BG high for
hours. I then went dancing and was low within an hour, despite allowing for
the exercise. Mind you the room was like a sauna.

I often get this in hot weather so I'm not really surprised. I've not had
any problems with cannulas falling out though. Even on holiday last year in
N. Cyprus where it was around 35 degrees and 95% humidity I had no problems
with the cannulas. I use Silhouettes and don't use any extra tape or
anything. Guess I'm just lucky. Then again, my stomach and hips don't
usually sweat that much!
