[IPk] weight vs insulin

It doesn't matter what Daniels dose is compared to " the norm"
This is where so many clinics go wrong by assuming everyone has similar
requirements per unit weight or best suits a twice daily vs 4 times daily
regimen ( or a 4 times vs twice or x times vs 8 times vs pump!). Also assuming
everyone can get good control and maintain a healthy weight ( ie not put on
too much) with a high carb, low fat diet

what matters is Daniel's control ( healthy BG and healthy weight) and quality
of life ( especially not feeling too restricted about food: either force
feeding or feeling hungry)
It sounds as though the first of these and the last are suboptimal at present.
i am sure you will be able to sort these out on the pump.
