Thanks for the responses.

If I'm doing the high protein thing I tend to wait about 20 mins after eating to bolus but then usually a normal bolus.

I use the square wave for rice and pasta based meals, and I haven't tangled with duals yet.  :o)

Strangely I find the best bolus for me for fish & chips is a normal one - maybe my diabetes hasn't heard about high fat meaning slower absorption!
