Re: [IPk] reusing tubing

As the supplier we have to take some  responsibility and as a legal
requirement we can't sell the needles alone, because we recognise that if we
did this the patient could reuse the tubing indefinately, which is not wise.
This is why Disetronic operate the 10 + 10 system for the patient so that
the patient should get 72 hours out of each needle (there being 20 in a box)
and a week out of each length of tubing, any longer than that and as John
Neale says, you are running unnecessary risks.
