[IPk] Autolet Impression

Hi Marion

My Compact seems unreliable. If I was more committed to it, Id ask for a
replacement. When I load a new drum, it never accepts it straight away, I
always need to put it in, turn it on, get End message, take it out etc
several times. Ive tried the different-drum-same-box trick, but still no
joy. Sometimes I need to open the battery compartment and move the
batteries slightly to get it to turn on. Oh, and the front section at the
bottom of the meter becomes loose from time to time and needs to be clicked
back into place, as does the battery compartment cover. All in all, a bit

I already have a One Touch Ultra, which I was using prior to the Compact. I
liked the idea of the built in strips of the Compact, but the extra facility
has caused most of the hassles, so it hasnt been much of a benefit to me.
The Ultra was always reliable. Id stick a sensor in, it would turn on, and
I could do a test. Simple as that. Also, the Compact seems quite heavy
compared to the Ultra plus a pot of strips.
