This is easy to do ... you simply count out how many spoons you spoon
out (say it's 20) and of them, how many end up on your son's plate (say
3).  Then you take the total CHO, divide it by 20, and multiply it by 3.

As you always cook the same ammount of pasta and if you always use the
same spoon to spoon out, and always give him the same amount, you only
have to do the calculation once.

The same works for the sauce.
