Re: [IPk] 37 year old male scared of needles????????

Thanks Pat,

I am going to see my GP soon about getting a referral to an endocrinologist
at Kings'.

I am going to have to try to persuade my GP to refer me to her out of area
(I live in E14, and should go to Mile End Hospital). What arguments should
I use other than:

1) I want to try some other newer long acting (like Lantus/Glargine) but
my Mile End specialist had never heard of it

2) I want to investigate pumping (but noone is on one through Mile End)

3) In a couple of years I want to try to have kids so need tighter control
than what I currently get.

What are my chances of getting an out of area referral?
