Re: [IPk] sites not working

Hello Di,

I have had similar problems with sites in my abdomen. Unlike Fiona's son, I
have plenty of subcutaneous fat, and have found that the canula can start
off fine, but it seems to embed itself in scar tissue from time to time.
When this happens it is like removing the canula completely... Easily sorted
out by moving the infusion set, but annoying all the same! My stomach is
covered in stretch marks and it is these that cause the problems... (Not the
excessive body tissue!)
When my diet works (ha,ha!) I will let you know about alternative sites - in
the meantime, I'm enjoying the freedom my pump gives me too much to worry
about it!

Kate
