[IPk] dvla guidelines
Hi
You will probably get this message ten times as it keeps bouncing back!!!!!
DVLA guidelines say that you should inform them if you have diabetes controlled
by insulin or controlled by tablets so I guess if your type 2 diabetes is
controlled by diet alone you don't need to inform them.
The book you need to get is D100 which you can get from the post office or down
load from the website.
http://www.dvla.gov.uk/search.aspx?keywords=D100
Its the first one on the link. It also says that you have to inform them if
your condition gets worse.
I was told that I didnt have to tell them I had switched to a pump as my
condition had not worsened just the way I was treating it had changed and its
was still insulin just the delivery method.
Hope that helps
Marie
