Re: [IPk] viruses?

Yes, two messages somehow managed to slip through the net today. One of them
appeared to be from Melissa but I don't think it originated from her -
viruses these days often appear to be sent from someone when actually they
originate from somewhere else entirely - they just take a random email
address from someone's address book and set the sender to that name.
Anyway, please be reassured that the messages did not contain any virus,
because our software strips off any attachments before the messages reach
the list, and viruses of this sort can only be transmitted via attachments.
