Are those official company figures? I've always been told/taught humalog is
gone after three hours.(although I know any insulin can have a longer and
shorter action in any given individual.)

hours. Therefore, if you are correcting 3 hours after your meal bolus, you
still have 25% of the original bolus still to disperse. Take this into
account when correcting!
