Some-one was saying that they don't know whether their sugar level was going
up or down...

Have you thought of doing another test after say 30 mins - this should give
you a better idea.  Another one after another 30 mins will give an even
clearer picture.  Once you've done it a couple of times, you will be much
more confident about things.

Our diabetes centre has a continuous monitor that they loan out.  It fits in
much the same way as the pump - subcutaneously (not sure of that's a word!).
Wearing both devices is a bit of a juggling act, particularly in the
bathroom! but the results show exactly what's going on overnight.  It might
be worth asking your DSN if they have a device you can borrow.  You wear it
for 3 days, and the device then downloads into a computer and produces
graphical results.
