Re: [IPk] promised references about differences between humalog and regulat insulin

We have copies of both references mentioned in Joans reply. if anyone needs these we can send them by post - we don't have the necessary permissions to publish them on the web.

Subject: [IPk] promised references about differences between humalog and regulat insulin

Here are the 2 references I promised about studies which looked at interuptions of humalog and regular insulin in pump therapy.
1.    'Comparison of human regular and lispro insulins after interuption of CSII and in the treatment of acutely decompensated IDDM'
N. Attia et al: Diabetes Care; 21: 5: pages 817 - 821
2.    Catheter Disconnection in Type 1 Diabetic Patients treated with CSII: Comparison of Insulin Lispro and Human Regular Insulin.
Pein M, Hinsselmann C, Pfutzner A, Dreyer M.1996: ******Diabetologia: 39 (Supp1) A847.
Thank you to all who have filled in a questionnaire for me about the Impact of diabetes, I am very grateful. If anyone else is willing to complete a questionnaire for me, please contact me by email with your postal address. It only takes about 5 minutes to complete.
