I'm on animal insulin - can't use human analogues.  My bolus delivery is set
to SLOW after multiple problems with the pump - can't recall exact details
now but Animas USA told me to try SLOW bolus and leave it that way if it
works.  It does, so I have.  Obviously animal insulin has slower action time
than Humalog etc so all the IOB etc functions are not available to me.

Hi Joel again,

 Just to say you can set your bolus delivery to SLOW which gives 1 unit
about
every 5 seconds....if you want to that is. I find the normal delivery too
fast, it stings!
