Re: [IPk] FreeStyle vs One Touch Ultra Smart

Hi Lesley

I too saw that article a couple of days after receiving my Medisense
Precision Link software at a cost of #30. I couldn't believe that the only
thing I could achieve with this software was to view my blood glucose
results and not input any insulin amounts at all. I phoned the One Touch
people up who were very helpful. They actually said that the Balance
magazine has come out a little early and that in fact this meter is not
available until 19th Jan but have taken my details and will ring me when it
is, just in case they get them a little early. There is also some new
software for this coming out in February some time. I'm now in the process
of arguing with Medisense as to how useless their stuff is for me as I don't
see that it serves any more purpose that flicking through the memory
function on the meter itself.
