[IPk] CGM?

Hi All
Anyone else out there with great HbA1c trying their hardest to get funding for
CGM to maintain and continue to have near perfect control of their diabetes? I
have been battling from pillar to post doing research and giving the medics
things that are impossible to dispute about cgm being the next best thing to not
having diabetes but, hey, it's down to NICE guidelines. Well what's wrong with
judgement and the individual and understanding and care about patients in the
NHS and last but not least, listening! Did anyone watch Hospital last week on
diabetes? Well, big money is easily spent on people who don't give a hoot about
their condition, I wish the people that do care had a hearing and some support.
Sorry to rant on but I do feel alone and nobody want's to know. Why do I as a
diabetic have to become seriously ill before I get what I want to improve my
condition and my better quality of life? I look after a seriously ill husband -
my whole day is about caring, worrying and giving him his much needed
life-saving medication. I usually have to take a back burner when it comes to
caring for my diabetes. CGM would make life much easier knowing which way my
bg's were heading.
Best
Wendy
