Re: [IPk] Medtronic - don't appear to care about pump being broken - anyone else had a similar problem

Hi Helen
I have had my pump for nearly 4 years now from Medtronic. Luckily I have only
had one problem which was the .battery cap split. I phoned medtronic and one
arrived in the post within a few days. I have always used a baby scratch mitten
to keep my pump in, inside my bra and have never had any problems at all with
damage to the pump. Like you I am not too happy having the pump anywhere else,
firstly for the reason the same as you and people knocking it, also I am around
greyhounds every day both at kennels and home and am always concerned even with
the pump in my bra when they jump up. At the end of the day that is the only
"safe" place to keep a pump. I do have the problem that the pump "blocks" after
2 days is this normal with all pumps?

Kind regards
Lynette
