Re: [IPk] First night on pump - DISASTER!

Hi David
B
I haven't ried the D-link with my Accu-check, but I have found that the
Tenderlink Teflon stick very well indeed...B I have had a staffie (rather
large male) catch his back paw in the tubing and basically hang of it!!!B The
pump remained clipped to my waistband and the cannula/infusion set didn't
budge,B the tubing did stretched a bit though (60cm to 1 metre) so changed my
complete set, just in case the stretched tube effected delivery?
B
The tenderlink is inserted at a 45 degree angle rather than the 90 degree of
the D-link, this is way I choose it, looked a lot less scary to me any
way...B But if you would like to try a couple and haven't got any give me a
e-mail off list with your address and I'll post you a couple...
B
Jo

PS: just to clarify: get the cotton wool wet with alcohol, apply to
skin, and let the skin dry before inserting the set. As I re-read what
I wrote, it seemed like I might mean to let the alcohol dry on the
cotton wool before applying to your skin, which would not be much
good!
