Hi Sarah,

Be sure to test your bg before the appointment and ask the dentist how long 
it might be until you'll be able to eat or drink something easily. You may 
want to reduce your basal during the appointment if you're starting out on a 
fine bg, just to be on the safe side. If, on the other hand, your bg is high 
before the appointment starts, you may want to correct more conservatively 
than usual to avoid going low.
