Re: [IPk] BG Meters

I have a One Touch Ultra for my daughter, it cost 12 pounds from Super Drug.
I really like it. Very easy to use and very quick. The GP will only give me
50 strips at a time though;-( We can't seem to get enough blood from an
alternative site to do a test for Sasha though. When I use it on my arm with
the alternate site attachment it works fine for me. I can only assume that
its because my skin is looser and older and hers is young and too springy.
But it still needs a lot less blood than the other meters I have and is easier
to get a blood sample on the strip. The other meters we use are Medisense
Optium and Card sensors that need a lot more blood.
