Re: [IPk] retinopathy



Hi Abigail,

I've had laser twice. Both times in the Rt eye, for similar changes also
close to the macula. Not only did it not disturb my vision significantly,
but the first time it even made it better! I had been seeing a few silvery
patches, but they all disappeared after the treatment. Laser has come a long
way in the last few years, and it is now very precise. I'm sure it was the
good control that set this off, along with the few years of diabetes of
course. It should settle down, as mine has done.
