Re: [IPk] Carb Book

Hi Paul

We use a book called the Calorie Counter by Collins Gem - costs 3.99 and
all carb values are given per 100g.

The only problem that you might find is that it is very targeted around
brand names for all processed foods, so if you don't get them in the States,
it may be a bit of a waste of time. It's pocket sized though and you'd
never guess that there are nearly 400 pages worth of food in there!!

may be worth a look...let me know if I can help any more.

Cheers

Estelle

Subject: [IPk] Carb Book

Hello everyone,

Can anyone recommend a good carb value book showing portions in grams?

There are of course similar books here in the US, but they show all of their
portions in cups, cups, oz etc. I grew up in a world of grams and litres,
and I find these terms are bit unwieldy to work with.

Thanks

Paul
