[IPk] Insuring Insulin Pumps
Can anyone tell me what the position is regarding the need to insure insulin
pumps for loss damage or theft? I have just renewed my home insurance and the
Insurer has declined to add it to the policy unlike in the last 4 years. I
have contacted my PCT, who fund the pump, and have not got a statement on the
subject. There must be a Department of Health position regarding any supplied
medical apparatus, eg Hearing aids but what is it?.
